On 25th Jan 2014 Vijaya Diwali New Year’s meet was held at Calcutta Club. The 1st My Story Session was held today, where Past President and Veteran Mr. S K Roy Chowdhury shared his life story. He was accompanied by his wife.
The My Story Session was followed by Presentation by Dipayan Banerjee. An IIT Graduate, Dipayan highlighted the importance of Visual Communication in marketing our products. He makes videos for engineering companies like TATA, L&T, Metro Rail, HAL etc.
On 16th Aug 2014 2nd session of My Story Session was held today, where President Mr. Rajiv K Poddar shared his life story. He explained how he struggled to learned English in short time, started money lending business at the age of 12, done TV repairing at households.
He started with merely with Rs 2000 capital and went ahead to establish a brand name Smartpower in short time.
The My Story session was followed by seminar of Wealth Dynamics (How to search Business Partner And successor) by Mr. B Hari.
Hari mentors entrepreneurs and provides strategic inputs and directions to entrepreneurs playing the role of a friend, philosopher and guide to teams who engage with him. An entrepreneur for over 25 years, Hari is the founder of Ontrack Systems Limited, an ICT company headquartered in Kolkata, India employing 250 professionals in six countries.
Hari earned a BE (Bachelor of Electrical Engineering) from Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur. Over the last 25 years Hari has held key positions in several trade bodies and industry associations and has served as a Board Member / Advisor for several companies.
Hari session went over an hour and members were immensely excited. Many members requested him to become Advisor in his company.
